Peter Mellis
Senior Advisor - Corporate Development
Peter Mellis joined in December 2023 as Senior Advisor - Corporate Development, with responsibility for helping to advance Lomar’s investment strategy and business development. Based in the United States, he has over 20 years of experience in banking and private equity-backed businesses.
Peter was previously Group Commercial Director of V.Group, headed Business Development in the Americas region and global relationships with banks and financial sponsors. He was previously a Director at RBC Capital Markets where he led advisory and capital markets transactions in the maritime, transportation and logistics sector, and has also worked within Citigroup’s investment banking team, having started his career at J.P. Morgan on the Global Markets Investment Strategy Team.
Peter graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business Economics from Brown University, where he was presented with the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa award that recognises outstanding intellectual distinction among undergraduates. He received his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was also selected for UPENN’s Outstanding Student Honour Society.
